(NPQLTD)
Who is the NPQ Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD) aimed at?
The NPQLTD is for teachers who have, or aspire to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers in their school. They may have responsibilities for the development of all teachers across a school or specifically trainees or teachers who are early in their career.

What will you learn?
You’ll develop the knowledge, skills and expertise to lead the development of teachers, including sequencing and structuring professional development and effective coaching and mentoring.
Modules include: Teaching, implementation, professional learning culture, determining priorities, building knowledge, professional development resources, embedding expertise, expert-led conversations, and ITT and ECF provision.​

Course partners
The NPQLTD course is delivered in partnership with either Teach First or the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT). Participants have the options of choosing either provider for this course, however, your lead provider would be NELT Teaching School Hub.

Teach First: £899
NIoT: £850
​
Schools with the highest 50% of pupil premium pupils, as well as early years and 16 to 19 educational settings identified as having high disadvantage, may be eligible for fully-funded NPQLTD places, subject to availability.
